Gibson earns spot in U.S. Senior Amateur Championship

Blake Gibson of Yukon shot a 2-under 70 at The Club at Indian Springs Tuesday to earn a spot in the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship Aug. 28-Sept. 2 at The Country Club of Detroit.

Jonathan Valuck of Oklahoma City is the first alternate while Terry Collier of Bixby is the second alternate. Both shot 1-under 71.
