Casey Foster hired as Marketing Director at OGA
With a new website and logo already this spring, the Oklahoma Golf Association has added a new face as well. Casey Foster of Edmond has been hired as the new Marketing and Operations Lead at the association.
Kyle Flinton, who last year replaced Morri Rose in running the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour, is now the rules and operations director, as former rules director Bob Phelps retired recently. Foster will help run the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour while also giving it a greater presence through social media and helping the OGA with social media and live updates at all of its tournaments.
Foster played years of junior golf in Oklahoma and started a collegiate career at the University of Cameron before transferring to the University of Central Oklahoma to enroll in the Professional Golf Management program. He later went into real estate and marketing while keeping his hand in the game through lessons and playing.
“I have the incredible opportunity to bring my skills and passion full circle—helping to grow the game in Oklahoma and give back to the sport that has given me so much,” Foster said. “I’m currently going through the proper channels to re-instate my membership to the PGA of America.”
