Reagan Chaney of Ardmore fired a 5-under 67 to lead qualifying for the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association State Amateur Championship Monday at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City.

Chaney, a rising sophomore at Oklahoma City University, finished four shots ahead of Michaela Dierenzo of Edmond and Madison Odell of Owasso. Dierenzo recently won the WOGA Stroke Play Championship while Odell is heading into her senior year at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Defending champion Shaebug Scarberry of Tutle shot 72, while Chaney’s OCU teammate Maddi Kamas of Ardmore shot 74 as did Lilly Whitley of Edmond.

The top 32 advance to match play, with two rounds scheduled Tuesday and the quarterfinals and semifinals Wednsday. The finals in all flights will be Thursday morning beginning at 8 a.m.
