Cozby to help open PGA Merchandise Show on Golf Channel

The grand opening to the PGA Merchandise Show floor with emcee Gary Williams, PGA President Paul Levy, Annika Sorenstam, Colin Montgomerie, and 2016 PGA Professional of the Year Cary Cozby, the director of golf at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. CST.

The annual PGA Merchandise Show begins today with Demo Day, followed by three days of exhibitions, meetings, conferences, guest appearances and industry highlights at the Orange Country Convention Center in Orlando.

Cozby was voted the PGA Professional of the Year for 2016 by his peers. His father Jerry Cozby won the award in 1985 while head professional at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville. They became the first father-son duo to be named Professional of the Year.
