Cozbys watch over par-3 16th on photo wall at Waste Management Phoenix Open
As Chance Cozby is busy this week making sure all goes smoothly at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, parents Jerry and Karole Cozby will also have a presence.
Chance is the executive director of the Thunderbirds, who host the wildly popular PGA Tour event. With limited attendance again this year due to Covid-19, the famed par-3 16th hole has a new feature this year, a wall of pictures available for purchase that help raise money for a variety of charities.
In the crowd will be Karole and Jerry, the late long-time head professional at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville who passed away in August.
Chance and brothers Cary, the director of golf at Southern Hills Country Club, and Craig, a representative for Ping, wanted to honor their parents at an event they loved to attend and one in which they expressed great pride in Chance’s instrumental role.
