As Chance Cozby is busy this week making sure all goes smoothly at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, parents Jerry and Karole Cozby will also have a presence.

Chance is the executive director of the Thunderbirds, who host the wildly popular  PGA Tour event. With limited attendance again this year due to Covid-19, the famed par-3 16th hole has a new feature this year, a wall of pictures available for purchase that help raise money for a variety of charities.

In the crowd will be Karole and Jerry, the late long-time head professional at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville who passed away in August.

¬†Chance and brothers Cary, the director of golf at Southern Hills Country Club, and Craig, a representative for Ping, wanted to honor their parents at an event they loved to attend and one in which they expressed great pride in Chance’s instrumental role.
