Lucy Darr edged Natalie Blonien in a dramatic final round with a 2-under 69 while Blonien shot a 1-under 70, leaving Darr one shot ahead in the 36-hole Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association Stroke Play Championship at River Oaks Country Club.

Tied for third in the championship flight were Ashlyn Acosta (71-75) and Michaela Dierinzo (73-73)at 4-over. The two also tied for first in the Mid-Amateur Championship flight and Dierinzo prevailed in a two-hole playoff. It was a remarkable seventh consecutive time Dierinzo has been the Mid-Amateur champion.

The Darr-Blonien duel heated up in the middle of the round. Darr made five birdies in a six-hole stretch from 8 to 13. Not to be outdone, Blonien made six birdies from holes 8 to 15, but bogeys on 16 and 17 dropped her from one ahead to one behind. Both players made par on the par-4 18th.
