Enter now to compete in WOGA Junior at Golf Club of Oklahoma

The Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association is still welcoming entries for the 73rd Annual Girls’ Junior State Championship scheduled July 11-12 at one of the state’s premier golf courses, the Tom Fazio-designed Golf Club of Oklahoma.

Don’t miss this opportunity to play and compete at what many regard as one of the best layouts of any course in the state in this tradition-laden event. Entries are open through Friday. Stars and points awarded for participation. Entry fee is $75 for 18-hole flights and $50 for nine-hole flights and entries can be made at www.woga-junior.golfgenius.com.

Following are details on the flights.

Championship Flight:
Open to 12 – 18 year olds*
Player must have a verifiable GHIN handicap index of 10.0 or less
Up to 7.9 handicap index must play in the Championship Flight
8.0 to 10.0 handicap index may elect to compete in Championship Flight or be flighted by age
Player must declare to play in this division when entering
36-holes Stroke play (18 holes per day)
Yardage approximately 6000 yards per round

12 – 18 Flights:
Must have handicap of 27 or less or average score no greater than 100 for 18 holes.
Flighted (12 -13, 14 -15, 16-18)
36-holes Stroke play (18 holes per day)
Yardage approximately 5600 yards per round

8 – 11 Flights:
Flighted (8-9, 10-11)
18-holes Stroke Play (9 holes per day)

All entries must be residents of Oklahoma.
