FlyingTee and Miss United States team up for local benefit
Event proceeds to go to No Kid Hungry®
JENKS, Okla. (Dec. 5, 2016) — FlyingTee, Tulsa’s premier golf entertainment venue, is teaming up with Miss United States, Alayah Benavidez, to benefit the No Kid Hungry® initiative on Dec. 7.
“We are thrilled to have Miss United States in Tulsa for a great opportunity to help make an impact for No Kid Hungry,” James Vollbrecht, FlyingTee co-founder and chief technology officer, said. “During the holiday season, many people and businesses, including our facility, are looking for ways to give back. This event gives the community a way to support a great cause.”
On Dec. 7, FlyingTee will be hosting a Long Drive Tournament and donating 50 percent of its golf bay rental proceeds to the No Kids Hungry initiative with the help of Miss United States. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Benavidez will be greeting and taking photos with guests as well as discussing the importance of the No Kid Hungry® initiative. “I’m honored to take part in this event at FlyingTee in support of No Kid Hungry®,” said Benavidez. “This campaign is near and dear to my heart, so to be able to share it with others and encourage them to donate is a wonderful opportunity for me. I am looking forward to meeting the locals that make up the heartland of America!”
Benavidez will be taking photos with guests until 8:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend this event and contribute to the No Kid Hungry® initiative.
There will be a media opportunity for photography and interviews at 4:15 p.m. at FlyingTee.
