FlyingTee in Jenks continues to deepen its ties to the community with a variety of new contests that all serve to raise funds for worthy charitable organizations.

Beginning Monday, golfers can aim tee shots at a car donated by Bob Hurley Ford and dressed up by River Spirit Casino. On Monday through Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., golfers can purchase five balls for $10, with anyone hitting the car winning daily prizes as well as going in a drawing for a FlyingTee private suite party for 20.

On Fridays through Sundays from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., participants who hit three targets near the car will win two tickets to the Flo Rida concert Feb. 24 at River Spirit Casino Resort. All ticket winners will be eligible for a Hit Off on Feb. 17 to win an upgrade to a private suite for 20 at the concert by the popular rapper.

The contests raise money for the Special Olympics and the Special Olympics Oklahoma Unified Golf Team will be training at FlyingTee this winter and spring.

Two other worthy activities at FlyingTee are the Drive For Dollars and the Darts for Dollars programs. In February, anyone can enter the long drive contest which will benefit Operation Safety Net in conjunction with Tulsa Coffee Bunker to assist homeless veterans. Other non-profit programs which have benefitted from the contes include Tulsa Burn Camp, Tulsa Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Oklahoma Blood Bank.

For the contestants, the top five longest drivers in February will compete in a championship round with prizes awarded, including $1 per yard of the longest drive. There is no additional cost to enter other than bay rental fees. Ask anyone at the FlyingTee or visit www.flyingtee.com for more information.
