Golf Oklahoma Report is back as state golf radio/podcast options abound

Golfers throughout the state have some good options for catching up on their favorite game through radio and podcasts this summer.

The Golf Oklahoma Report with Golf Oklahoma publisher Ken MacLeod and long-time Tulsa sports broadcaster Al Jerkens is back today with weekly shows at 12:15 p.m. Wednesdays on The Blitz 1170 AM. The shows can also be listened to anytime later at www.golfoklahoma.org. Today will be focusing on The Masters with a lot of local news updates as well.

The 73rd Hole Podcast has a new show up as hosts Sam and Craig Humphreys are both live at Augusta National this week, doing podcasts and live reports on WWLS The Sports Animal 98.1 in Oklahoma City and affiliated stations. There will be new podcasts Friday, Saturday and Sunday from The Masters.

Another entry in the market this year is The Red Dirt Golf Collective Hour on The Franchise, Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. with hosts Jared Gallagher, Spencer Drury and T.J. Eckert, sports anchor of KTUL in Tulsa. The show can be heard on radio in the Oklahoma City area on 107.7 FM but in Tulsa best listened to on the station’s website at www.thefranchiseok.com or its app or podcasted later at www.reddirtgolf.com.

Another podcast covering Oklahoma golf is YSO (You’re Still Out) with host Johnathan Teel with more than 150 episodes on mostly local topics.
