Hanna takes three-shot lead into final round of Oklahoma Open
Chase Hanna of Leawood, Kan., shot a 5-under 65 Friday to take a three-shot lead into the final round of the Oklahoma Open on the East Course at Oak Tree Country Club.
Hanna, who played collegiately at the University of Kansas, opened with an 8-under 62 on Thursday and is 13-under through 36 holes. Hayden Wood of Edmond, who shot a course-record tying 61 Thursday, managed a 1-under 69 and fell back into a third-place tie with Andrew Hudson of Fort Worth and Logan McCracken of Oklahoma City at 10-under 130.
Hudson fired a second-round 63, while McCracken notched his second consecutive 65.
Also in striking range at 8-under are a quartet including PGA Tour veteran and two-time Open champion Robert Streb, who added a 67 to his opening 65. Also at 132 are Mitchell Meissner of San Antonio, Manav Shah of Bakersfield, La., and Sean Walsh of Keller, Texas.
Leading the amateurs in the field is 2020 OGA State Amateur champion Jamie Voegeli of Tulsa, who shot a second-round 64 and is at 5-under 135.
