Hennessee, Roller stand out in OJGT’s Tour Championship

Will Hennessee and Jenni Roller battled through windy conditions to win the boys and girls divisions of the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour Championship this weekend at Shawnee Country Club.

Hennessee, of Tulsa., shot a 4-under total of 138 after consecutive rounds of 2-under 69 to win by five shots over Ben Lathrop of Oklahoma City (73-7)). Tied for third were Preston Albee of Choctaw (74-70) and Carson Wright of Norman (70-74).

Roller, of Jenks, closed with a 2-under 69 Sunday to finish at 1-over 143, 10 shots ahead of Emerie Schartz of Wichita (76-77). Beans Factor of Ada rebounded in the second round (84-74) and placed third at 158, followed by Lauren Milligan of Springdale, Ark. at 162 (87-75).
