Tres Hill of Elk City and Reagan Chaney of Ardmore each cruised to convincing victories in this weekend’s Earlywine Park Fall Classic on the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour.

Hill unleashed a remarkable second-round 10-under 62 on the par-72 Earlywine North course, a round that included three eagles, six birdies and two bogeys and set a new competitive course record. I

Earlywine Park Director of Golf Dan Langford said he wasn’t positive on the previous course record, but in his 25 years the 62 was the best in tournament play and a placque would go up in the clubhouse recognizing it as such. Earlywine Park North has a course rating of 74.5 and a slope of 137.

“It’s a remarkable round and one Tres will remember forever and something to be very proud of,” Langford said.
