Hughes, Stanford among winners of U.S. Kids OKC Tour Championship
National champion Chase Hughes shot a 2-under 34 to win his division by a single shot as the U.S. Kids Tour Championship for Oklahoma City was held Sunday at Lincoln Park Golf Course.
Hughes finished a shot ahead of Kael League of Enid, who shot 35. Brayden Sterling of Edmond also shot 1-under 35 to win the Boys 9 division. Shawn Hardin of Gracemont shot 34 to win the Boys 8 group. The boys start playing 18 holes at age 11, won by Ainslee Stanford of Edmond with a 1-under 71, the same score shot by Nate Seres of Edmond to win the boys 12.
Ben Lathrop of OKC shot 73 to win Boys 13-14 and Dan Downey of Lawton carded a 69 to win the 15-18 group.
Among the girls, Harlow Gregory of Norman shot 35 to lead the 9-10 group, Maggie Ruby of Stillwater shot 75 to lead those 11-12, Juliana Hong of Norman shot 71 to win ages 13-14 and Livia Blevins of Edmond shot 78 to lead ages 15-18.
