Kropp leads local contingent in Tour qualifier at TPC Craig Ranch

Will Kropp of Edmond, Logan McCracken of Oklahoma City and 2018 Oklahoma State graduate Sam Stevens are among the top five with one round remaining in the Tour second stage qualifier at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas.

Kropp is tied for first at 13-under with Chase Hanna of Leawood, Kan., and Greg Yates of Mansfield, Texas. Stevens and McCracken are tied for fifth at 7-under. The top 19 players will advance to the final stage Dec. 6-9 in Chandler, Ariz.

Kristoffer Ventura, a starter on OSU’s national championship squad last spring, is tied for 15th with University of Oklahoma product Grant Hirschman at 9-under. Former Tulsa Tag Ridings is a shot back at 7-under and currently one shot out of qualifying. Dillon Rust of Edmond is 5-under and tied for 37th.

Nick Heinen of Edmond is tied for 11th through 54 holes of a second-stage event in Plantation, Fla. Oklahoma City native Blake Trimble of Houston is leading the qualifier in Mobile, Ala., through three rounds at 20-under. Former University of Tulsa golfer Chris Worrell is tied for 37th at 8 under, four shots out of the top 19.
