Lehman leads in SC Section Professional Championship at Oakwood
Andrew Lehman of Hillcrest Country Club shot a 5-under 66 to take the first round lead in the South Central Section Professional Championship under way at Oakwood Country Club in Enid.
The pros from across the section play a second round Tuesday morning, following which the top 15 and ties will play a third 18 holes to determine the six section representatives in the 2027 PGA Professional Championship scheduled April 25–28, 2027, at Streamsong Golf Resort in Bowling Green, Florida. The top 20 finishers there will earn a berth in the 2027 PGA Championship May 20-23 at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, Texas.
Bennett Baldwin of Stillwater Country Club and Andre Tourinho of Southern Hills Country Club each shot 4-under 67. A group of eight shot 1-under including Tracy Phillips of Tulsa, the last section pro to battle his way into the PGA Championship when he did so in 2024 at Valhalla.
