Meyers wins pair on Fairway Golf Tour

Edmond’s Cameron Meyers won a pair of one-day events on the Fairway Golf Tour this weekend, shooting 70 at Thorntree Country Club in Dallas Sunday to best a field of 50 after shooting a blazing 63 at Lincoln Park Park West Course Saturday to romp to a win against a field of 20 professionals and amateurs.

Meyers won $1,350 in Dallas where he tied Patrick Phillips for first and $1,100 in Oklahoma City where Bryan DonCarlos finished second with a net score of 70.3. Meyers was the leading money winner on the Fairway Tour in 2014.
