MIAA postpones fall sports until Sept. 28, will affect NSU, Rogers State, UCO
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced Monday that all sports will be postponed due to the current global health crisis. No official practice will be allowed to begin prior to August 31 and no official competition will be allowed prior to September 28.
Oklahoma schools in the MIAA who will see their men’s and women’s golf programs affected include the University of Central Oklahoma, Northeastern State University and Rogers State University.
There will not be a shifting of the 2020 fall schedule, rather the schedule will pick up the week of Sept. 28. The MIAA announced games scheduled prior to that date can be made up later in the fall semester or in the spring if possible.
The postponement also effects cross country, men’s and women’s golf, and women’s tennis.
