MidFirst Bank of Oklahoma City has agreed to a five-year sponsorship of one of two annual scholarships awarded by the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame.
The Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame Scholarship – Presented by MidFirst Bank will be awarded from 2019 to 2023 and this year will go to Carson Rainbolt of Bartlesville.
“MidFirst Bank is honored to be part of the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame scholarship program, assisting deserving young men and women in their future educational goals,” said Ross Hansen, First Senior Vice President – MidFirst Private Bank.
“We are very grateful to MidFirst Bank for their generous support of the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame and our mission and we will look forward to presenting this scholarship in their name beginning November 24,” said Tom Jones, chairman of the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame Executive Board.
Rainbolt and the second scholarship winner, Blayne Barker of Durant, will be honored November 24 at the 2019 Induction Dinner for the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame. Also being honored is 2019 Everett Dobson Award winner Elizabeth Freeman of Oklahoma Christian University.
