Milligan moves up 15 spots in second round of NCAA Championship
Oklahoma sophomore Kaitlin Milligan climbed 15 spots during the second round of the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships on Saturday and Sunday. She is tied for 66th with 18 holes remaining at the par-73, 6,397-yard Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
Milligan played 16 holes of the second round on Saturday before play was suspended for the remainder of the day. She wrapped up the round Sunday, totaling a 75 (+2). The round was a six-shot improvement from her opening day.
The stroke play portion of the NCAA Championship was originally scheduled to feature four rounds, but due to Saturday’s weather has shifted to three rounds. Milligan will compete in the final round on Monday, teeing off at 7:55 a.m. CT.
