NSU men’s golf adds Tulsa-Union’s Gomez

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State head golf coach Scott Varner has announced the signing of Carlos Gomez who will join the RiverHawks as an incoming freshman this fall.

Gomez is a Tulsa-Union standout and was their top-player this last season for the Redskins finishing in third place at the 6A State Championship with an even par at the Forest Ridge GC.  During his senior season, Gomez won the Bixby Invitational and holds several top-5 finishes at Union HS.

Gomez will join brothers Jake and Jax Johnson (Tahlequah), and Tyler Ashman (Fresno, Calif.) as incoming commitments to the NSU men’s golf program.
