OGA cancels five-event spring series on OJGT Tour

The Oklahoma Golf Association has cancelled the five-event spring series on the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour, OGA Executive Director Mark Felder announced today.

“With school out until at least April 5 and everything else going on, we didn’t think it would be a great idea to have the kids gathering for tournament play,” Felder said.

Cancelled events are the Muskogee Spring Break Classic this Sunday, the John Conrad Spring Break Classic March 28-29 in Midwest City; the Lake Hefner South Spring Classic April 4-5 in Oklahoma City; the Bailey Ranch Classic April 18-19 in Owasso and the Spring Series Championship May 28-29 at Shawnee Country Club.

The next scheduled junior event is the OGA Boys and Girls Junior State Amateur Championship presented by Taylor Moore June 1-4 at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond.
