SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist leads Arkansas-Monticello by two shots after day one of the OBU Invitational at Shawnee Country Club.
Four of the Bison starting five rank in the top-10 of the event, while one from the OBU “B” squad is tied for ninth.
Sophomore Valentina Nunez-Butzonitch made four birdies in shooting a 1-over 73 and taking the individual lead.. Hayden Meiser was in third place after a 77.
Josie Patterson shot 83, Karlee Holcomb 84 and Lindyn Ross 85.
