Oklahoma collegiate teams in conference battles, Hermann shines for Dalton State

Conference championships are under way for many of our Oklahoma colleges this week. Here’s some to keep an eye on.

Rogers State was in fourth place, Northeastern State in fifth and UCO in eighth after the first round of the MIAA Championship at Shoal Creek Golf Course in Kansas City. Follow live scoring here.

Oklahoma Christian women’s team was in seventh following the first round but moving up the leaderboard today in the Lone Star Women’s Championship at WinStar Golf Club in Thackerville. Follow live scoring here.

Also today, defending Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association State Amateur champion Sydney Hermann is leading her Dalton State team toward the NAIA SSAC Women’s Championship at the Cambrian Ridge course on the Robert Jones Trail in Greenville, Ala. Hermann shot a 4-under 68 in the first round to lead the field. Follow the final round here.

In wrapping up regular season action, Oklahoma City University, Southwestern Christian and University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma are battling for third place in the final round of the Texas Collegiate at Squaw Creek Golf Club in Willow Park, Texas. Follow the final round here.

Oral Roberts has ventured a long ways east to compete in the Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, WVA, where it was tied for fifth going into today’s final round. Follow along here.
