IRVING, Texas – The Invited Celebrity Classic presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts has announced the celebrity and PGA TOUR Champions fields for the 2024 PGA TOUR Champions event. Both champions from last year (Celebrity – Tony Romo; PGA TOUR Champions – Mark Hensby) are returning in hopes of defending their respective titles.
Held April 15-21 at Invited’s Las Colinas Country Club, this unique PGA TOUR Champions tournament includes a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions players, 40 celebrities, and 10 Invited Member Qualifiers who will compete in separate competitions for $2.7 million ($2.2 million for the professionals, $500,000 for the celebrities).
Three World Golf Hall of Fame members will be competing in this year’s tournament: Annika Sörenstam, the all-time winningest player in LPGA Tour history (72 wins), will play in the celebrity field while Retief Goosen, coming off a win at The Galleri Classic at Invited’s Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, and Vijay Singh will compete in the Champions Tour field. Including Annika, this year’s field has combined to win 25 PGA TOUR/LPGA Tour majors, with an additional 28 Champions/Legends Tour majors.
