Oklahoma duo off to strong start in Assistant PGA Professional Championship

Hagen Barmasse of The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow and Andrew Lehman of Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville were both in contention after the first roiund of the National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship Thursday at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Barmasse shot a 3-under 69 and was tied for fifth while Lehman shot 2-under 70 and was in a tie for 12th. Scott Ford of the Metropolitan Section led the event after the first round at 7-under.
