ORU closes fast, hops into fourth in Jackrabbit Invitational

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Oral Roberts men’s golf finished fourth at the Jackrabbit Invitational Saturday afternoon in Boulder City, Nevada.

The Golden Eagles played their best round of the tournament in the final round with a 289 (+1). Overall, ORU finished with an 880 score (+16). Jackson Howes led the Golden Eagles and shot even par 72 in round three for a 215 total score. Howes finished tied for ninth in the field.

Jared Strathe
finished tied for 23 in the field along with Dustin Hasley. Hasley shot 2-under 70 in round three to finish with a 221 score. Mike Biata and Philipp Pakosch shot their best rounds in the final round. Biata shot a 73 (+1) and Pakosch shot a 76.

ORU finished two shots back of third place. UNLV won the event with a score of 836 (-28).
