ORU men back in action at ORU/SFA Challenge

IRVING, Texas – The Oral Roberts men’s golf team shot 294 in the opening round of the ORU/SFA Challenge, Monday, at TPC Four Seasons, finishing the day sixth overall. Rice leads the field at 285, while Stephen F. Austin’s Blake Stock shot 67, the best individual round of the day.

Grayson Jones shot a +1 72 on Monday and leads ORU, finishing the day inside the top 10. It was the fifth straight round of 72 or better for Jones.

ORU had just one day off between completing the Border Olympics Saturday and beginning the ORU/SFA Challenge. Cody Burrows shot 73 and is tied for 19th, while Josh Montgomery came in at 74 and Mike Biata 75.
