ORU women four shots back in Summit League Championship

NEWTON, Kan. – The Oral Roberts women’s golf team is in fifth place in a tight race after round one of The Summit League Women’s Golf Championship, which kicked off Sunday. ORU shot 325, but is just four shots off the lead, held by South Dakota State at 321.

ORU has three golfers inside the top 15 individually, led by Sarah Bell who sits in a tie for seventh. With windy conditions, ORU had just six birdies on the day, two of which came from Isabella Caamal.
