OSU’s season concludes with 10th-place finish at Albuquerque Regional
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Oklahoma State women’s golf team carded a final round 308 to finish 10th at the NCAA Albuquerque Regional.
Facing sustained 20-plus mile per hour winds at the UNM Championship Course, the Cowgirls fell just short of the NCAA Championship cut line. The low six teams and the low three individuals advanced to the national championships, which are being hosted at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois on May 19-24.
Stanford took the top line on the leaderboard with a 2-over 866, while their own Albane Valenzuela took the top individual honors with a 6-under 210. Duke, Pepperdine, Southern California, Cal and Miami also advanced.
Cowgirl Kenzie Neisen led the Cowgirls with a 4-over 220 to tie her for 14th place. Neisen was a combined +1 on all par-4 holes on the week, which gave her the fourth-best scoring average on par-4s at the regional (4.03).
