PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (Sept. 22, 2020) – The PGA of America is encouraging diverse and locally owned vendors to provide sourcing in support of the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, May 25-30, 2021.

Minority-, women-, LGBT-, disabled-, Veteran-, and locally-owned businesses are invited to participate in PGA VendorMatch. Companies can register to potentially interview with larger, direct vendors (known as prime or Tier 1 vendors) at PGAVendorInclusion.org through Oct. 16, 2020.

“It’s important for the PGA of America to come alongside each of our host cities,” said PGA of America Chief Championships Officer Kerry Haigh. “This year’s PGA VendorMatch opportunity will enhance our ability to provide an outstanding experience through our championship operations, while positively impacting the Tulsa and Oklahoma economies.”

Golf is an $84 billion industry, and events like the Kitchenaid Senior PGA Championship generate substantial entertainment and tourism dollars for host cities and surrounding areas. The PGA is committed to building a supply chain representative of America’s population.

A variety of services are needed, such as food products, temporary housing, florals and labor. A full listing of needs is featured on the website.

Companies interested in registering should visit PGAVendorInclusion.org. All registrations must be received by Oct. 16, 2020, to be considered.
