Roller builds four-shot lead, Herman moves into second in Gateway First Bank Tulsa Junior

Jenni Roller of Jenks shot a 2-under 69 to to move to 3-under overall and take a four-shot lead into the final round of the Gateway First Bank Tulsa Junior AJGA event at The Oaks Country Club Wednesday.

Roller leads Lisa Herman, who will be a ninth grader this fall at Jenks and recently moved to Tulsa from California. Herman shot a 1-under 70 in the second round and is 1 over for 36 holes. She is tied with Eliana Saga of Stevenson Ranch, Calif. The final round is Thursday.

In the boys division, Asher Whitaker of Wichita fired a 5-under 66 to move into a tie at 3-under with Will Jordan of The Woodlands, Texas and Logan Zurn of Grapevine, Texas. The top Oklahomans in the field are Grant Gudgel of Stillwater and Christian Johnson of Oklahoma City, tied for fourth at 1-under. Collin Bond of Norman and Sam Morris of Tulsa are tied for ninth at even par, while Drew Mabrey of Tulsa is in 12th place at 1-over.
