J.P. Roller was accepting a trophy from C.T. Pan’s wife Michelle about the same time the PGA Tour golfer was capping off his greatest week yet by winning the RBC Heritage Classic at Hilton Head, S.C., his first PGA Tour victory.

Roller, the 2018 Class 2A champion at Regent Prep, was competing in the C.T. Pan Invitational, an American Junior Golf Association event at The Clubs of Kingwood in Kingwood, Texas. Roller had a great week as well, tying for third after scores of 75-73-72. See complete results here.

Roller’s mother Maggie Roller, the director of instruction at Cedar Ridge Country Club and coach at Regent Prep, now in Class 3A, is also the host of Tulsa’s event on the AJGA circuit, the Gateway Mortgage Group Tulsa Open Aug. 5-8 at The Oaks Country Club.
