RSU begins season at Rattler Invitational

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Rogers State women’s golf team started the spring schedule with a team score of 326 to rank in a tie for 10th place in one round at the Rattler Invitational on Monday (Feb. 12) at Dominion Country Club.

Mariana Flores and Veronica Grey paced RSU with scores of 9-over-par 81 to rank in a tie for 33rd place. Jess Whitting and Alex Massie were one shot back of the Flores and Grey at 82, while Mica Eastin shot 86.

Dallas Baptist University sits in first by 12 shots after a first-round score of 294. St. Mary’s is second with a team total of 306.

Ann Parmerter of DBU and Kelly Contreras of St. Mary’s are tied for first at 1-under-par 71.

The final round is Tuesday.
