OKLAHOMA STATE

The Cowgirls finished third in the field a season ago, carding a 54-hole score of 833 for their lowest total since its win at the Jim West Challenge in 2021. Clemence Martin starred on the course, making her season debut to the tune of 8-under finish and a tie for third place.

The starting five for OSU this weekend will be Clemence Martin, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard, Thitaporm Saithip, Ellie Bushnell and Angelica Pfefferkorn. Playing as individuals will be Marta Silchenko and Sammie Miller.

Martin found her groove last year in Norman, posting a career-best 8-under 202 en route to a tied for third-place finish. Martin’s season-opening effort at Belmar GC came early and often, tying her individual low record in round-one action – carding in a four-under 66.

The Cowgirls’ combined 54-hole score of 833 last season at the Schooner Fall Classic marked its lowest score since its win at the Jim West Challenge in 2021. OSU will look to beat out its total from a season ago, building upon its previous mark.

All three Cowgirl freshmen will appear at the Schooner Fall Classic this weekend. Ellie Bushnell returns to the starting lineup for OSU after closing her collegiate debut strong, finishing 1-under 71 in round three of the Carmel Cup.

Marta Silchenko and Sammie Miller enter Belmar Golf Club as individual participants.

Silchenko heads to the course after co-leading the field with two eagles in the Carmel Cup, tacking on eight eagles in her debut. Miller will make her Cowgirl debut in Norman – teeing off for the Cowboys after a strong background in California.

TULSA HURRICANE

Tulsa will come in off a fifth place finish in the Sam Golden Invitational Tuesday. Allyn Stephens, a freshman transfer from Texas A&M, finished second in the event playing as an individual and will move into the Hurricane starting lineup for the Schooner Fall Classic. She’ll be joined by Lilly Thomas, Grace Kilcrease, Sydney Seigel and Lovisa Gunnar.

Stephens scored a 12-under par 204 after Tuesday’s final 3-under par round of 69 at the par-72 Oakmont Country Club. Thomas placed 13th overall and Kilcrease was also in the top 20 as Tulsa finished at 20-under par.
