Raychel Nelke of Pocola will be back to defend her championship against a powerful field in the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association Junior Girls Championship Tuesday and Wednesday at Oak Tree Country Club (East Course).

Nelke, a University of Oklahoma commit, edged Maddi Kamas of Kingfisher by a single shot and Jenni Roller of Jenks by two shots in the 2020 tourney at Cedar Ridge CC in Broken Arrow.

Both Kamas, heading to Oklahoma City University this fall, and Roller, University of Tulsa commit, are in the field and will be looking to add to their own glowing resumes.

Reagan Chaney of Ardmore, Olivia Coit of Edmond, Brooklyn Benn of Edmond, Sarah Sherrard of Moore, Lindyn Ross of Ardmore and Meghan Charles of Sand Springs are among the other talented players in the field. And keep an eye on 13-year-old Beans Factor of Ada.
