Sam Stevens won for the third time on the 2020 All Pro Tour, shooting 20-under par in 54 holes at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kan., only a few miles from his hometown of Wichita. The former Oklahoma State Cowboy has now won over $99,978.95 to lead the APT  money list.

Stevens made nine birdies in his final-round of 65 to edge Peyton Wilhoit of North Little Rock by a shot.

Wilhoit closed with a 5-under 67, as did former University of Tulsa golfer Logan McCracken of Oklahoma City, who took third at 15-under. Stevens’ OSU teammate Hayden Wood tied for seventh at 10-under.

Alexander Hughes, who shot a world-record tying 55 at South Lakes recently, competed but missed the cut at 2-over.

Hughes made nine birdies in two rounds but was set back by a triple bogey and two double bogeys.
