Tarvin, Cannon win first TJGT/OJGT collaborative effort

Myles Tarvin of Olathe, Kan., shot consecutive rounds of 70 to finish at 4-under 140 and win the first of six summer events in Oklahoma administered jointly by the Texas Junior Golf Tour and the Oklahoma Junior Golf.

The event was held at Bailey Ranch Golf Club in Owasso.

Second among the boys was Cameron Check of Owasso, who finished three strokes back after rounds of 76-67.

Evyn Cannon of Edmond won the girls division, shooting rounds of 74-78. MaKaylee Cowans of Yukon was second at 156 (79-77) and Lily Stanton of Jenks took third at 160 (85-75).
