Tenth Patriot Cup Invitational to benefit Folds of Honor
The 10th annual Patriot Cup Invitational will be a star-studded event Monday at Patriot Golf Club to raise money for the Folds of Honor Foundation.
The tournament and associated gala starring Phil Vassar on Sunday night will help in the foundation’s mission to provide educational scholarships for the families of servicemen and women killed or wounded in the line of duty.
The Patriot Cup Invitational features celebrities as well as members of the Champions Tour and PGA Tour. Among the participants this year are Tom Lehman, Corey Pavin, Nancy Lopez, Michelle McGann, Bob Tway, Scott Verplank, Robert Streb, Craig Stadler and Fred Funk. Among the celebrities are OU basketball coach Lon Kruger, Golf Channel personality Michael Breed, the Patriot architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. Larry The Cable Guy and a host of actors and musicians.
The fundraisers are both private and not open to the public.
