Tourinho rolls in Section National Car Rental Assistants Championship
Andre Tourinho shot rounds of 69-66 to finish at 9-under 135 and win the South Central Section National Car Rental Assistants Championship Tuesday at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville.
Tourinho, a former University of Tulsa golfers, is an assistant at the Broken Arrow Golf & Athletic Club. He finished four shots ahead of Chandler Rusk of Rose Creek Golf Club in Edmond (66-73).
Trent Rommann of Crestview CC in Wichita tied for third at 1-under with Chris Tidland of Stillwater. Tidland is a former tour player who was an All-American at Oklahoma State. A pair of Tulsa Country Club assistants, Clinton Greenwood and Austen Fuller, tied for fifth at even par. Complete results below.
