TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa women’s golf team opens the spring season at the one-day, 36-hole SMU/DAC Invitational, Monday, Feb. 3, at the Dallas Athletic Club golf course.

The SMU/DAC Invitational is the first of six spring tournaments for the Golden Hurricane.

The Tulsa golfers played in five fall tournaments and turned in their best performance at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational with a 3rd place finish.

Sophomore Lorena Tseng leads the Hurricane golfers. Tseng is off to another solid start after turning in four top-10 performances in the fall season. A year ago, the freshman sensation had seven top-10 performances and tallied a 72.1 stroke average as a rookie, a school record for a freshman.

Tseng will be joined in the lineup for the SMU/DAC Invitational by a pair of freshmen Lilly Thomas and Alex Christeson, as well as junior Haley Greb and sophomore Sammy Liu.
