Tulsa women compete in Palmetto Intercollegiate
KIAWAH ISLAND, SC –– The Tulsa women’s golf team is in 11th place after the opening round of the 54-hole Palmetto Intercollegiate on Sunday. Tulsa shot a first round score of 310 at the par-72 Turtle Point Golf Course.
Tulsa’s Randi Romack and Anneke Strobach are tied for 23rd place after carding rounds of 76 today, while Johanna Samuelsson is one stroke back with a score of 77 for 33rd place. Tulsa also counted a round of 81 today turned in by Olivia Jackson. Jackson is in 70th place, while Nikki Marquardt is in 83rd place with a score of 85.
Ole Miss leads the field with a score of 290, followed by Old Dominion at 295. Individually, Ole Miss golfers Diane Lim and Julia Johnson are one-two with scores of 68 and 70, respectively.
Second round action tees off at 8:00 am (CT) in a shotgun format due to impending inclement weather.
