TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa women’s golf program signed Titita “Tita” Loudtragulngam  (loud – tra – gul – ngam) to a national letter-of-intent, Golden Hurricane head coach Annie Young announced today.

Originally from Chonburi, Thailand, Loudtragulngam has spent the last two years in California and has attended the Anaheim Discovery Christian School. In the fall, she is the only member of the girl’s golf team and in the spring participates for the boy’s team, teeing off from the men’s tees.

In three seasons, Loudtragulngam has improved her stroke average from +6 to even-par and was named the San Joaquin League Player of the Year in 2019.

“We are very excited to have Tita join our team next fall. She had success nationally this past summer which is always something I’m looking for in recruits,” said Young. “I think her game is going to transition very nicely to the college level. She will be a great addition on and off the golf course, Tita brings a great attitude and work ethic that will help us continue to build the culture here at TU.”

Loudtragulngam has garnered some strong junior tournament performances in the last year. In the summer, she placed second at  both the Junior World Qualifier and the AJGA Qualifier for the KIA Junior Championship. She posted a win at the SCPGA (Southern California PGA) Junior Tukwet two-day event and finished in 6th place at the Future Champions Golf (FCG) International Championship in San Diego.

Loudtragulngam also lettered three years in basketball and once each in soccer and badminton.

She began playing golf at the age of 9.
