Volunteers needed for McNamara Invitational; post open at First Tee of Tulsa
• Volunteers are needed to help with the Dale McNamara Invitational women’s collegiate golf tournament Oct. 11-12 at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow. Positions open include live scoring. To sign up or see the openings, click here.
• The First Tee of Tulsa reports that is has a full-time assistant manager position open. The position is a multi-dimensional job as the candidate hired will spend time serving as a coach and performing administrative duties.

Organization History/Summary: The First Tee of Tulsa is a youth character development program that was founded by Southern Hills Country Club in 2001 and has served more than 124,000 Tulsa area youth during the past 20 years. By integrating the game of golf with the First Tee life skills curriculum, the program creates an active learning experience that builds inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience skills that kids can carry to everything they do. The First Tee staff delivers the life skills/golf program to children and teens ages 7-18. The program is delivered at located at Mohawk Park Golf Course, Page Belcher Golf Course and The Canyons at Blackjack Ridge in Sand Springs as well as on school grounds, apartment complexes and youth centers throughout the Tulsa region.
