Whitekiller pulls within three in All Pro Tour event at Indian Springs
Former Oklahoma State golfer Trent Whitekiller of Sallisaw shot a 6-under par 66 Friday to move to 17-under through 54 holes and close within three shots of Nick Hardy in the Supreme Lending Classic on the All Pro Tour at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow.
Hardy, who set a course record with a 62 on Thursday, shot 68 Friday and is at 20-under entering the final round Saturday.
Among other players in the field with Oklahoma ties, former OSU golfer Zach Bauchou shot a 66 Friday to move into a tie for 10th at 11 under, tied with Blake Trimble of Edmond. One shot back at 10-under par is Logan McCracken of Oklahoma City, tied for 16th after a 67 Friday. Former Cowboy Sam Stevens is at 8 under and his ex-teammate Brendon Jelley of Tulsa is 6 under. Former Oral Roberts golfer Cody Burrows of Chickasha is tied for 33rd at 5 under.
The All Pro Tour is a regional professional tour for those aspiring to move up to the Web.com Tour. There is no charge for admission. Tee times for Saturday’s final round are below.
