Wilson, Kamas win Spring Series Championship on OJGT Tour

Jordan Wilson of Edmond and Maddi Kamas of Kingfisher were the victors as the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour resumed Sunday and Monday at Shawnee Country Club with the Spring Series Championship.

Wilson won the boys division in a playoff with Boston Benn of Edmond after both finished 36 holes at 139. Wilson shot rounds of 68-71 while Benn came in with rounds of 67-72. They finished one shot ahead of Ryder Cowan of Edmond (66-74) and two clear of Jake Hopper of Norman (69-72).

Kamas won the girls division by a shot over Emily Miller of Edmond. Kamas shot 72-73 for a 145 total while Miller came in at 75-71 for 146. Brooklyn Benn of Edmond and Reagan Chaney of Ardmore tied for third at 150.

The tournament field filled in less than 22 hours after OGA officials posted that entries were open.
