Yu takes second, Cowgirls third in VyStar Gator Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Oklahoma State women’s golf finished third at the VyStar Gator Invitational at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla., this weekend.

The Cowgirls shot rounds of 289, 274 and 291 to finish 14-over. Florida and Michigan tied for first place at 11-over.

Han-Hsuan Yu led the Cowgirls at 6-under and finished the tournament in second place. Yu was one of just two players to finish under par and her 204 was the lowest 54-hole score of her Oklahoma State career.

Maddison Hinson-Tolchard and Clemence Martin both tied for 17th place at 6-over.

Hailey Jones shot a 77 in the third round to finish 11-over and tied for 38th. Lianna Bailey rounded out the Cowgirl lineup at 15-over and tied for 52nd.

OSU will return to action on March 18 at the Mountain View Collegiate in Saddlebrooke, Arizona.
