Coit, Lathrop are champs in OJGT’s Trosper Park Labor Day Classic

Ben Lathrop of Oklahoma City and Olivia Coit of Edmond finished on top at the Trosper Park Labor Day Classic on the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour Sunday and Monday at Trosper Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City.

Lathrop closed with a final-round 3-under 67 to finish at 3-under 141, four shots ahead of Conner Cryer of Tipton (68-73) and Christian Johnson of Oklahoma City (70-71). Colt Farrow of Andover, Kan., placed fourth at 142 while a logjam in fifth at 143 included Will Casey of Edmond, Ty Hyatt of Perry, Wyatt King of Edmond, Benton Manly of Tulsa and Mack Moore of Norman.

Coit shot steady rounds of 71-71 to finish at 2-over, two shots clear of Mimi Hoang of Oklahoma City (71-73). Gracie Doke of Tulsa was third at 147 (72-75), Ramsey Gunter of Edmond fourth at 148 (76-72) and Beans Factor of Ada fifth at 152 (78-74).
