Cowgirls in contention in Wildcat Invitational
TUSCON, Ariz. – The Oklahoma State women’s golf team sits in third place after the first 36 holes of the Arizona Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Arizona.
The Cowgirls shot 3-under 573, behind Southern California and Texas.
After her first individual title, Rina Tatematsu is in sixth place after shooting 2-under 142. She leads the field in par-4 scoring.
Isabella Fierro is in fifth place after shooting 3-under 141 on the day.
Strong performances by Maddison Hinson-Tolchard and Maja Stark leave them tied for 17th place at 1-over 145. Hinson-Tolchard leads the field on par-5 holes.
Lianna Bailey is tied for 32nd place at 5-over 149.
The Cowgirls will play the final 18 holes on Tuesday morning at the Sewailo Golf Club.
