Lee, Bell in top six as Oral Roberts takes third in Summit League Championship
NEWTON, Kan. – Megan Lee was named to the All-Tournament Team as the Oral Roberts women’s golf team finished third in the 2021 Summit League Women’s Championship Monday afternoon at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas.
The Golden Eagles closed out round three with a 320 (+32) to finish third. ORU had the second best score amongst the field in the final round.
Megan Lee finished fifth overall and earned a spot on the All-Tournament team. Lee had two birdies in round three and ended the day with an 80 (+8) score. Overall, she finished 19-over with a 235 score. Sarah Bell ended the tournament tied for sixth with an 80 (+8) round three. Bell had two birdies and finished with a 236 (+20) score.
The team finished third place after being in fifth after the first round. ORU was 24 shots back from second place to South Dakota State. Denver won with a 921 (+57).
